Women of the Hills, it’s time we put ourselves first!
Australian Women’s Health Week is this week, 4-8th September 2017, and at Creating Change we believe that all women in the Hills District need to look after themselves and take the time to consider their health and wellbeing. After all, the health of those we love, starts with us.
Every day women and mother’s put their partners, children and families ahead of themselves, and it can ware on your physical and mental health. But who is looking out for you? Celebrating Women’s Health Week is a great week to stop for a moment, and take the time to consider your own health and wellbeing, and support the women that surround you.
‘Lack of time’ is one of the biggest barriers for women maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Women’s Health Week has 5 free online events over 5 days, covering a range of topics such as ‘Is your heart healthy?’, mindfulness, and improving your chances of getting healthy sleep. All details to take part in these online events can be found here – http://www.womenshealthweek.com.au/
You can show your support by purchasing an elephant pin or stress ball here –
