At Creating Change Psychology, we believe the most important expert in therapy is you.
That is why we use Feedback-Informed Treatment (FIT) as part of the care we provide. FIT is an evidence-based approach that invites you to share regular feedback about how you are feeling, whether therapy is helping, and how you are experiencing the therapeutic relationship. Rather than assuming treatment is progressing well, we ask, listen and adjust together.
Research has consistently shown that clients who are actively involved in shaping their therapy are more likely to remain engaged, experience stronger therapeutic relationships, and achieve better outcomes. Small changes made early in therapy can make a meaningful difference over time.
At the beginning of each session, you’ll complete a brief check-in about your wellbeing and how things have been since your last appointment. At the end of the session, you’ll have the opportunity to tell us how you experienced the appointment, whether you felt heard and understood, and whether today’s session focused on what mattered most to you.

Your psychologist uses this information alongside their clinical expertise, professional judgement and evidence-based practice to tailor your care. If something isn’t working as well as it could, we want to know. Your feedback helps us make changes early so your therapy remains relevant, collaborative and focused on your goals.
Why Creating Change Psychology is Different
Many psychology practices rely solely on the psychologist’s clinical observations to judge progress. At Creating Change Psychology, we believe your perspective is equally important.
Feedback-Informed Treatment is embedded into the way we work across our practice. It reflects our commitment to continual learning, accountability and delivering the highest standard of care.
When you work with us, you can expect:
- Therapy that is personalised to your goals, values and changing needs.
- Regular opportunities to share honest feedback in a safe and supportive way.
- A collaborative approach where your voice genuinely shapes your treatment.
- Progress that is monitored throughout your therapy, not just at the beginning and end.
- A team committed to continually improving the care we provide.
Your Voice Matters
Therapy is not about getting everything right the first time. It is about working together, learning what helps, and adapting as life changes.
Whether you are taking your first step towards support or have been in therapy before, Feedback-Informed Treatment helps ensure your care remains responsive, meaningful and centred on what is most important to you.
At Creating Change Psychology, our vision is to empower generations to know their value and be calm, connected and in control. Listening to your feedback is one of the ways we bring that vision to life, helping us provide therapy that is thoughtful, accountable and genuinely focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for every client.
