Confidence, Connections, Success After High School

Is the Launchpad program for me?

Group of Happy Teenagers

If you’re 17–21 and standing at the edge of “what’s next?”, this workshop is for you. Whether you’re finishing the HSC, eyeing Uni or TAFE, starting an apprenticeship or first job, taking a gap year, or still figuring it out, you’ll leave with clarity, confidence, and a simple plan you can actually follow.

You’ll get the most from Launchpad if you…..

  • Want help choosing between study, work, or a gap year and mapping real next steps.
  • Are headed to Uni or TAFE and want the inside scoop on study skills, timetables, and how it’s different from school.
  • Are jumping into the workforce and need a CV, interview practice, and workplace “how it really works”.
  • Feel overwhelmed by ATAR pressure, family expectations, or comparison, and ready to swap stress for strategy.
  • Live with ADHD, autism, anxiety, or other mental health challenges and want support to self-advocate and access accommodations.
  • Are the first in your family to pursue further study and want a friendly guide through the system.
  • Took a detour (health, life events, gap year) and want a confident re-entry plan.

The Launchpad Program is designed to support young people aged 17–21 with the emotional, social, and practical skills needed to confidently move into life beyond school. This early intervention program is intended to help participants build resilience, structure, and self awareness during a time of significant change.

What can you expect after attending Launchpad?

  • Direction with less uncertainty – tools to handle “What now?” anxiety and make grounded decisions after the HSC.
  • Pathways clarity – compare Uni/TAFE/apprenticeships/work/gap year; map alternative entry options and bridging programs.
  • Uni & TAFE readiness – how lectures and tutorials differ from school, study planning that actually works, assessment timelines.
  • Workforce skills – CV/LinkedIn setup, interview practice, networking basics, workplace etiquette, rights & protections.
  • Self-advocacy & accommodations – how to register with Support/Disability/Accessibility services (ADHD, ASD, mental health), and ask for what you need.
  • Adulting essentials – budgeting, tax file number, HECS-HELP, super, Medicare/GP, transport, and time management systems.
  • Wellbeing & resilience plan – sleep, movement, nutrition, and a personalised mental health toolkit for high-change periods.
  • Social reboot – making friends beyond school, joining clubs/communities, healthy boundaries, consent, and digital footprint care.
  • Balance skills – juggle work–study–life without burnout; “minimum effective dose” routines for busy weeks.
  • Coping with results & expectations – reframing ATAR, navigating comparison, handling family pressure, and course changes.
  • Safety & independence – alcohol/drug risk strategies, online safety, and a crisis/support escalation map.
  • Values → goals – 90-day goals for study/career/wellbeing with simple weekly check-ins to stay on track.
  • Personal Transition Plan – a one-page roadmap (next steps, deadlines, contacts, supports) to carry into Term 1 or your first job.

Love the sound of Launchpad but would rather start on my own……

Launchpad sounds relevant to me but I would rather do it individually rather than with a group. If this is you please connect with us so we can organise one on one sessions.
