Psychologist Dr Kylie chats about Trichotillomania, also known as the ‘hair pulling disorder’.
Trichotillomania is a disorder that has repetitive ‘obsessive compulsive’ behaviours, however is related to hair pulling. That can be hair on your head, legs, eye lashes, eyebrows – any part of the body. Anxiety and increased stress can contribute to these repetitive behaviours.
